Adapting, we have to form new habits or accept situations in every aspect of our lives. This is true for many situations, whether good or bad. So, do the bad moments we experience truly change us? Or do they train us for the real world? I don’t know if the answer is right or wrong. Recently, I lost a bird that had been my companion for years. I can’t put its pain into words, but it’s very hard. When I forget, it will be as if it never existed. I wish no one we care about ever had to leave, that they could stay with us. Difficult times could be with us even during our happiest moments. Maybe in these sad times, we learn to look at life differently. We start to appreciate the value of the present moment. We come to understand the importance of the time we spend with our families more deeply. Perhaps this is the answer to the question we just asked. Yes, it changes us. It made me a better person than I was. But this is only true for me. It may make some people worse than they were. What matters is how we view life and how we navigate through our experiences. Çiko, Limon, Çakıl, Bal Pörçüğü, Fıstık, I will miss you so much. I am grateful to you for being my companions. We will meet again in moments and memories.
